OWS undertakes electrical contracts all over the United Kingdom. We have teams of electricians, as well as designers and skilled automation technicians who can engineer specialised automation interfaces. We undertake all types of electrical work, whether it be conventional, 3-phase or low-voltage specialised circuits. For domestic work and other links, please see ‘Related Links’ panel.
Please consult our Data / IT pages for more details.
Electrical Installations
We undertake all manner of electrical tasks, from 3-phase factory installations to retail lighting and domestic work. A recent job involved stripping a decommissioned factory in Manchester for copper recovery. We are NICEIC accredited, and use our own in-house electricians.
Testing & Reports
We can prepare official inspection reports, as required, and undertake testing, such as PAT testing.
Maintenance
You can also use us for maintenance contracts. We currently maintain numerous properties, including care homes, shopping centres and schools.
Low-Voltage
We also have expertise in low-voltage automation techniques. Automation networks, such as KNX, are becoming increasingly prevalent for all sorts of applications, particularly where the green agenda is being pursued. It is because we have in-depth knowledge of this field that we are the ideal partners/ contractors for projects involving integration of this kind of provision. See our Automation page for details.
Security
Security cameras and alarms also fall within the scope of works we regularly undertake. Please refer to our Security page.
Location
Working Nationwide & Beyond
At time of writing, we have ongoing projects from Southampton to Dundee, as well as involvement in overseas projects. For electrical contracting purposes, we will undertake work nationwide, whereas smaller projects (such as domestic work) are more confined towards our Hertfordshire base. For the purposes of design work, we are not restricted by location of our employees, and therefore are able to offer services worldwide.
